Title: Short Term Benefits in Ecuador
Posted by:
Next: Dominican Republic

One of the frustrations I have with short-term missions is that many of the benefits that take place are after the trip itself. We return home and never get to realize the fullness of the impact we have had. I received this email from Rich and Elisa Brown, C&MA missionaries in Ecuador. This is something to celebrate!

"We had one of the best ministry days of our lives last month. From money raised through the Short-Term teams that came to Ecuador this past summer we were able to pay for a retreat for youth pastors. There were 50 youth pastors and wives with us from several different countries in Latin America. The youth pastor presidents were there from Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Brazil. There were also youth pastors from all over Peru, Ecuador, Paraguay, Chile and more. It was awesome to see in their faces that they were valued and that we appreciate their ministries. We had a time of pairing up and praying for each others ministries and struggles. We played soccer together, ate together and then we blessed them with 3 ministry books each. We wanted to thank all of the Short-Term teams that came down and will come in the future for blessing our ministry and that of dozens of youth pastors around Latin America."

Blessings,
Rich & Elisa Brown
